Ok, this is the wicked difficult contender in this month's update. It has a unique level 14 solution with a TON of false moves and dead ends. Secret Burr is a re-release of a puzzle I made very limited copies of in 2002. Another of Guy Brette's devious designs, this twelve piece burr has two different stick lengths and an interesting "cross" finished shape. It's also quite difficult with a whopping level 9.9.9 solution. I'd call it the crown jewel of this update in terms of difficulty and appearance. This little gem was a last minute addition to the update. A fairly low level 7.2, it's nonetheless fairly tricky. I ended up solving it outside the box because things got tricky quickly once they were inserted. Space is an aptly named caged burr puzzle designed by Dan Fast, this design is far out.
