Operating the Marketplace incurs overhead from hosting, software, support, participant verification, customer service, and other activities. Marketplace fees are in place to defray those costs and enable continued operation of the site. Therefore any attempt to circumvent the fee structure by any participant is strictly forbidden and will result in account suspension or revocation.
Auction fees are a flat 7.00% of the final value. There are no charges if the item does not sell or for any other function.
Fees are due and payable 20 days after your last item closes. You will be sent an invoice at this time. Your fee balance may be viewed at any time by going to Members Area - My Account - Account History. Balances must be paid within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. Unpaid accounts will be suspended; should the balance not be paid by the start of the next scheduled auction, your account will be deleted.
Fees may be paid by PayPal or a check drawn from a US bank.
To submit payment by PayPal, use the "Clear Account Balance" button on the homepage dashboard to be taken directly to the PayPal payment screen. Alternately, we will accept the appropriate amount by PayPal to "firstname.lastname@example.org". After payment is received we will manually reset your account balance back to $0.00.
Single seller events are possible by request, with a 12% fee structure.
