This puzzle, I got a long time ago, but was never brave enough to take apart. It is about 3" on a side, and consists ofwooden L pieces, and has metal bars that inhibit the position of the wooden blocks from being put together into the box. I was afraid if i took it apart, it would never get together again.. This puzzle box was made by occasional craftsman Stephen Chin (entered australian IPP). This puzzle box is well made with very nice woods. There are gravity pins, and it is very difficult to open. I have instructions which can be included from his email. There are VERY FEW pieces of his work, probably less than 10 in total.

A good copy of the original 1893 edition of Puzzles Old and New published by Frederick Warne. Good points - Binding is reasonable tight and all pages are complete. Less good points the edges of the pages are yellowed and the book cover show some knocks but for a book over 100 years old it's in pretty good nick. Postage costs will be around $10 within Europe and $20 worldwide.

Eric made versions of very difficult burrs out of very nice woods. These were made in late 2002 on his kitchen table using a hand saw and chistle. These were never used.

This Japanese puzzle box was made by the deceased master Okiyama. It comes with the original box. It is in excellent condition.

This design is a variation of Triumph where two pairs of pieces are fused, making it a much more difficult four-piece puzzle. All four symmetrical solutions are still possible. The puzzle is made of Koa wood and although only 4 pieces it is a really difficult puzzle to solve in the correct orientation. The puzzle is in excellent condition and the Koa makes it more difficult as Lee writes on his website the puzzle is much more difficult to solve when made from only one wood and the Koa certainly...

This is a very rare version of the very special boxes Mr. Okiyama made in the 6 sun 54 move size. Only 12 of these very rare boxes were made. A couple of the boxes I was able to obtain had minor problems with the Yosegi (in one or 2 of these boxes the Yosegi didn't line up on one end of the boxes near the Kannuki) I am not going to sell the box with this very minor problem. The Pennyhedron is a great little puzzle that is made of two identical pieces to form a Rhombic Dodecahedron that will stump anyone who is not familiar with this design.
