Description
This is an old Gilbert puzzle set No. 1032, dated copyright 1953. The celophane sheet for the top of the box has disintegrated, but the plastic puzzle-cover on the inside is in good condition. All the puzzles except for one look like the originals in the set; one of the lot appears to be made out of some other type of metal, so I'm guessing it was added after one other was lost; not certain about that. There is a badly worn and torn puzzle solution booklet included with the set, with some scribbling on it. I'm also not positive that this solution sheet is the original, since it specifies solutions for Gilbert puzzle-party sets 1, 2, and 3. Box top has a couple of edge-tears. The lot is stored in a protective cardboard sleeve (for shipping and storage). A total of 20 disentanglement puzzles in the box. Contains the Spider Web puzzle and the Moon and Stars puzzle as shown.
