Cubane
from cubicdissection.com:I saw this puzzle at the IPP design competition this summer and know I had to make it. I was very happy when Mr. Ohno allowed me permission! Cubane is a three dimensional interlocking maze replete with loops and dead ends. It's very reminiscent of the excellent "Wanderer" puzzle by Oskar van Deventer and Tom Lensch. Navigating from start to finish requires a minimum of 15 moves, including rotations, turns and pass throughs. This is a very very fun puzzle to play with!One...

Ayi's Toy -- Tai Ji - 69 Puzzle
Taiji is a take apart puzzle by Ayi Liu. There are no markings on this one but I am pretty certain that it will have been originally acquired from Wil Strijbos. It won a Jury honorable mention in the 2015 Puzzle Design Competition. I have not fully solved this puzzle but have tested the first couple of moves and they work without issue.******************************This is one of a number of rare/collectible/hard to find puzzles that I (Steve Nicholls) am selling on behalf of Ethel Brokenshire. ...

Aha Box by Allan Boardman 2019 Edition (RPP)
Small Box Two - "Aha Box" This design was Alan Boardman's IPP exchange puzzle in 2004. He describes it as ""Designed to lure your non-puzzler friends into ""our"" world."" It gives very few clues upon handling...it seems to be solid, with no way to open it. A solution does exist, and it's quite tricky to discover. Sturdy and pocket sized, a great puzzle to share with friends and non-puzzlers. This little box also has a surprisingly useful amount of space inside!

Six Slabs by Brendan Perez (RPP)
Six Slabs is a unique packing puzzle reminiscent of the Hexahedroom design. Six uniform ""slabs"" must be packed into the box, which has three openings in a non-symmetrical pattern. This is complicated by two fixed blocks inside the box. With a level 1.1.9.3.2.3 solution, Six Slabs is non-trivial to solve.Crafted from Curly Maple (box) and Wenge (pieces). Great care was taken during construction, with Wenge accents on the box corners and extremely precise dimensions. Extra attention was spent on...

MagneTeam
Taken from the Cubic Dissection Website:MagneTeam packing puzzle incorporates multiple challenges to keep you busy for some time! The first task is packing the three Grandillo pieces into the box so that all openings are filled, giving the illusion of a solid inner cube. The highest level assembly conforms to this requirement, with the other four falling short. The second task shares the same goal with the fourth piece's addition (made from Morado). This arrangement has three possible assemblies...

205 Minutes by Alexandr Leontev Oddball
Leontev's 205 Minutes is a masterpiece in both design and construction. So named because if you make one correct move per second, non stop, it will take you 205 minutes to disassemble. This n-ary juggernaut requires over 12 thousand moves to disassemble. Once disassembled, a reset mechanism allows you to quickly bring it to the original state with only four moves. It also comes with the 136 minute piece which only requires around 8,000 moves to solve.
It was a difficult decision to make this ...

Blah Box by Eric Fuller (RPP)
Blah Box is the result of the accumulation of ideas I had while trying to design a simple mechanism for the box containing the DDD Burr Puzzle. I wanted to make a simple trick opening mechanism for DDD, but in the end, discarded the idea because it would overly increase the price of the puzzle. I came out of the design session with some solid ideas, which, when combined, turned into a rather interesting box on their own. I was feeling rather "Blah" about my failure with DDD and decided to name t...

Acorn Box - Hiroshi Iwahara
From the original description:The cover rattles. But, the cover doesn't open even when you pull it up or turn any points of the box. It was unveiled at an exhibition that was held in Feb. 2008 by the craftsman and Mr. Ninomiya. At the exhibition, a customer who experienced Karakuri for the first time opened it very quickly, but a veteran of puzzles needed 30 minutes. This caused a lot of laughter! The acorn is made of wood. This work was designed for the marriage party of the craftsm...

Dunant
Goetz Schwandtner wrote about it:“The latest puzzle “DUNANT” by Dr. Volker Latussek is a nice little box with some five identical C shaped pieces in it. In the initial configuration two of the pieces look out through the opening in the top and form the shape of a red cross (providing a reference to the name of the puzzle). Taking the pieces is quickly accomplished, and then the real fun starts. The challenge is to get them back into the box, but this time nothing is allowed to stick out of...

Where's My Hammer?
When this box was for sale on Cubicdissection I was too slow and missed out so I contacted Dee Dixon to ask if there was any chance of a spare. He had only one, which did not make the grade because of a slight flaw. This "flaw" is cosmetic, does not affect operation and is on the INSIDE of the box so you only get to see it if you solve the puzzle! Dee allowed me to buy it at a slightly discounted price and I have seen the inside of the box. If I did not KNOW there was a flaw I probably w...
