Bovril Colour and Square is a reproduction of an antique advertising puzzle used by the Bovril Company of England. The puzzle is beautifully reproduced in four contrasting woods by the great Wayne Daniel, and was used by perennial Edward Hordern Puzzle Exchange participant Harold Raizer. The objective of the puzzle is to arrange the five pieces to form a square, such that no two triangles of the same color are touching each other. Note that the second photograph is NOT in the solved state.
The puzzle is as received at IPP19 in 1999 in its original plastic bag, with instructions. I will include a copy of the solution from the IPP19 exchange booklet.
