This puzzle -- The Pearl in the Shell Puzzle by Bill Cutler for IPP 26 was from the Boston Puzzle party. Although a somewhat smallpuzzle, it is about 4 1/2 " at the widest point. This Makishi is signed and dated. He also painted the top. It is made from nicer wood than many of the boxes I have seen that he made. It is also not as loose as many of his puzzle boxes. It works well. I had instructions, but I will have to look for them. This is a very difficult puzzle box.
