"Melted Checker" is a 2D packing puzzle designed by Frederic Boucher and produced by NothingYetDesigns. Goal: Pack the 16 pieces inside the frame and make a 4x4 melted-like checker pattern (unique solution). Extra challenge: Pack the 16 pieces inside the frame so that the colors are separated (several solutions). When solved the pieces will lie flat and no force is needed.
