Description
"NewTiles" is a 2D tray packing puzzle designed by Frederic Boucher in 2016 but revised for a more difficult solve in 2021 and produced by NothingYetDesigns.
I don’t normally say what the difficulty is... but this is the comment right from Frederic... “Despite the apparent simplicity of the design, this is a really difficult puzzle”. I’m not sure what his idea of “Really difficult” is for the normal solver... hey, how hard can it be?
Goal: Pack the 9 pieces into the frame. When solved the pieces will lie flat and no force is needed. If you are using force then it is not the solution.
