Description
"Exhaust" is a very unusual six-piece interlocking burr that combines board and burr piece shapes to achieve a fascinating symmetry. The two board and two burr pieces interact with the two hybrid-style pieces to create an unusual challenge. The solution is devious and clever.
Construction of Exhaust went very well. The end-grain joints of the hybrid pieces are reinforced by a half-shoulder for strength, ensuring that this puzzle will stand the test of time without mechanical failure. Exhaust looks, solves, and feels like the heirloom pieces it is.

These puzzles are listed as part of the Reserve Puzzle Program: for each newly released puzzle on Cubicdissection, four copies are reserved. After that puzzle is sold out, they are listed one at a time in the next four Marketplace events with a one penny opening bid and no reserve. This is done to discourage profiteering and flipping by making more than one copy available as a competing identical listing.
Our work is handcrafted to very precise tolerances and must be kept within the range of 40-60% relative humidity at all times. Failure to do so may cause inoperability or permanent damage.
