Description
The Pin Cubes series by William Hu are three new cubes based on a 3x3x3 structure. By including drilled holes and pins, each puzzle in the set takes advantage of this format in a different way and creates three very different experiences. Designed to be tricky in both disassembly as well as assembly, they are a new take on an old idea, and well worth a look.
Pinwheel (Maple) is the easiest of the three. The most 'standard' of them, with five moves to remove the first piece - a level that's impossible to achieve with regular cubes in this space.

These puzzles are listed as part of the Reserve Puzzle Program: for each newly released puzzle on Cubicdissection, four copies are reserved. After that puzzle is sold out, they are listed one at a time in the next four Marketplace events with a one penny opening bid and no reserve. This is done to discourage profiteering and flipping by making more than one copy available as a competing identical listing.
Our work is handcrafted to very precise tolerances and must be kept within the range of 40-60% relative humidity at all times. Failure to do so may cause inoperability or permanent damage.
Please read the Caring for Wood Puzzles guide to ensure proper fit and operation. We recommend an occasional polishing with Renaissance Wax to keep wood puzzles in top condition.
