Description
When Stewart wrote The Puzzling World Of Polyhedral Dissections, he commented that he did not know if a scrambled version of the Jupiter puzzle with twelve dissimilar pieces and a single solution could be made. This is it.
60 paired triangular sticks glued in arrays of 4,5 or 6 sticks, all different, assemble into a hollow ball, the inside of which is a triacontahedron. If made of one wood this is an extremely difficult assembly. The wood variety pairing makes life easier and 30 different woods make for a great display piece. One piece inscribed STC#156-C, #5 of 12 and signed by Mark.
