b****a (35 ) Disjointed/accordian cube06/02/2019 23:16:38Hi, I have a question on picture #1 for this listed item:
The white piece looks like it has either a sticker on it, or something written/stamped on it. Right on the edge where it meets the table, a long rectangle with writing in it—what is that? I don't see it in the cubicdissection pictures that they have for that puzzle.
thank you,
Bryan -
Re: Disjointed/accordian cube06/03/2019 08:54:53Hi Brian, thanks for your question. The sticker is a printed plastic label (clear on lighter woods, white on darker ones) with the puzzle name and designer that I affix to all of my puzzles With over 500 puzzles in my collection (about 40% of them being cubes), labels are the only way I have found to identify one from the many others.
I typically renaissance/museum wax the puzzle before applying the labels so they actually stick to/float on a wax layer and can be easily peeled off, without leaving any sticky residue on the wood.
Thanks,
George -
