It is a puzzle from the 80s and is patented by Claus Fohlmeister. It is a coin bank. This puzzle was Teijo Holmsten's exchange at IPP31 in Berlin. A tricky puzzle to get apart. I ended up with an extra copy of this puzzle, this puzzle is brand new and unopened (the photo shows my other copy which I have solved).
