Jerrican
Eric's description: I very much enjoy tricky puzzles with few pieces. Odd One Out was one such puzzle, and when I found Jerrican I knew I wanted to make it. It's an amazing design; two fairly simple pieces dance around each other in surprising ways to cumulate in a level 12.4 solution. Lots of fun and a nice gotcha when shared with an unsuspecting puzzle friend.Construction of this puzzle is robust, with shouldered box construction and a floating bottom to ensure strength. The same woods were...

Fidget Burr
Eric's description: Fidget burr was an easy decision to make. A seemingly simple 3x3 cube, it's actually a five-piece interlocking burr with a level 12 solution. Three burr pieces nest inside two identical frame pieces. Disassembly of this puzzle is VERY tricky, with many false paths and dead ends. Fidget Burr is a ton of fun and it turned out very well.

Little Bruce
Brian Menold's description: Here we have a close relative to Little Kenny, Ken's Little Bruce! While this design is easier than Little Kenny, the assembly may give you a challenge. i think it is fun and the perfect companion to Little Kenny. This would be a great introduction if you are new to TICs. It's easy enough for the first time TIC solver!

Daedalus by Gregory Benedetti (RPP)
Daedalus by Gregory Benedetti is an utterly unique masterpiece of design. Brilliantly creative and brutally tricky, Daedalus hides its secrets well. The beautiful exterior gives no clue to the sheer pandemonium hiding inside. What appears to be a simple cube is an interlocking maze that continually changes its state with rotations, dead ends, and deception. Simple disassembly is a challenge; reassembly is genuinely an accomplishment.Daedalus is difficult to make. Each puzzle contains pieces from...

Dovetail Burr by Frans de Vreugd (RPP)
Dovetail Burr is our follow-up to the Japanese Wood Joint puzzle we released last month. Both are part of the series that Frans designed nearly 20 years ago. Inspired by traditional Japanese woodworking joinery techniques, Dovetail Burr was Frans's IPP 20 Exchange puzzle.Dovetail Burr remains an utterly unique interlocking board burr concept despite its age. The presence of matched dovetail joints forces each pair of pieces on a given axis to interact with the other. This innovation creates a di...

Grooved Three Piece Board Burr by Kouki Kusumi (RPP)
The Grooved Three Piece Burr by Kouki Kusumi won an honorable mention in the 2020 IPP Design Competition. This fascinating assembly has three identical pieces yet only one solution. Despite their similarity, the pieces interact uniquely to assemble into the traditional board burr shape. With a level 8.2 solution, this puzzle is approachable yet fun for all experience levels.************************************************************For multiple items, combined shipping is available. Japanese Wood Joint Burr by Frans de Vreugd (RPP)
Japanese Wood Joint Burr was designed by Frans de Vreugd for the London IPP in 1999. Originally crafted in very small quantities by Wayne Daniel, Frans considers it one of his nicest designs. This burr is uniquely difficult in both concept and operation. We previously released a small batch last year, and decided to make more after a lot of positive customer feedback. This run was precisely crafted from Ash and Wenge. The fit and function are exact. Production turned out very well and is represen...

Oskar's Matchboxes by Oskar van Deventer (RPP)
Oskar's Matchboxes have always been one of my favorite designs. Very few puzzles come close in terms of originality, appearance, and overall appeal. The five pieces consist of an outer box and inner tray cleverly glued together. The goal is to assemble the pieces to contain every tray inside a box. With only two solutions, this is quite tricky!
Matchboxes is quite time-consuming puzzle to craft. Each piece is constructed using the same robust shoulder joinery we used to make the Tube It In puzz...

Soma Burr by Rod Bogart RPP
Soma Burr is Rod Bogart's amazing creation which combines the fabled Soma Cube with a traditional three-piece board burr. The solver must fit the cube inside the burr; with only one solution, this is a tricky proposition. A delightful combination of packing puzzle and interlocking burr, Soma Burr is sure to become a favorite!Construction of Soma Burr was done with extraordinary attention to detail. Each Soma piece is precisely milled and finished with full bevels. The fit is perfect; not too t...

Exhaust by Émil Áskerli RPP
"Exhaust" is a very unusual six-piece interlocking burr that combines board and burr piece shapes to achieve a fascinating symmetry. The two board and two burr pieces interact with the two hybrid-style pieces to create an unusual challenge. The solution is devious and clever.Construction of Exhaust went very well. The end-grain joints of the hybrid pieces are reinforced by a half-shoulder for strength, ensuring that this puzzle will stand the test of time without mechanical failure. Exhaust look...

One piece is marked "STC 1983" The puzzle is has a few minor marks and blemish but the fit is perfect.******************************This is one of a number of rare/collectible/hard to find puzzles that I (Steve Nicholls) am selling on behalf of Ethel Brokenshire. The Double Four Legged Puzzle #81-C-1
The following wording has been copied from the original page on Brian Youngs web site."8 hexagonal sticks & 8 dowels. Two stick-dowel pairs joined to form two different elbows. Another two joined to form two different cross pieces. 12 pieces in total. Not sure if anyone ever answered Stewart’s challenge from 1987 to analyse all the variations using different elbows to make this shape but Brian has made at least one of the possible variation here. He not only made this puzzle with two different ...

Another Stewart Coffin classic puzzle. The fit on this puzzle is excellent. Please note that although I believe this to be a Stewart Coffin original I can not be a 100% certain. Pseudo-Notched Sticks
Coffin describes this as a simple puzzle that looks like the class six-piece diagonal burr, when you try to take it apart by the usual way of pulling on two opposite pieces nothing happens. He describes it as a novelty or practical joke saying "For more fun it can be expanded in all directions to almost the point of collapse"This version has been made by Pelikan Puzzles.******************************This is one of a number of rare/collectible/hard to find puzzles that I (Steve Nicholls) am selli...

Improved Cluster Buster : Rare Stewart Coffin puzzle
Another rare Coffin original (see my other listings). Stewart's compendium shows he made ten in 1973, though curiously this one is inscribed "STC 1983" I suspect a typo crept into his compendium.
