A lovely inlaid oval shaped puzzle box by Bits and Pieces. The mechanism is somewhat loose which causes the lock to disengage. It could probably be repaired if you had the inclination, the mechanism can be accessed by unscrewing a panel. Solution included. Quad-L is a metal puzzle with an elegant and satisfying solution. This is a level 6 so not terribly difficult. It is still sold as new on several sites. This Sorrento style puzzle box is a no-name import, but is in good working condition. There are some small dings and scratches, but nothing serious. The very rare Cube-In-Cube was designed by Marcel Gillen, who is very famous for his Chess Piece puzzles. Object is to get the brass block outPuzzle in good working condition. Cosmetically there are some minor scratches and staining on the cage as well as on the cube. One edge of the cube also seems to have worn down. Please see photos.
