This is the 2nd version of the Byway Secret series. There are 2 spaces inside, and you'll be able to open the 1st space easily. But, it takes 10 moves to open the 2nd space, and you'll miss your way to open. The right side and the reverse side will intertwine and move each other. One of the original Creative secret boxes from Karakuri Creation Club.CS-6The surface plate looks like "Ran-Yosegi." It has mechanisms inside. It can be opened with 4 steps, and it isn't difficult. The mechanism of the Ohawa type Secret Box was applied. When you opened the mechanisms on surface, the appearance of the lid is interesting.

Great Karakuri Creation group box. One move but clever and original.

Creative box from 2003. In great shape but for a tiny bit of warping to one panel which is hardly noticable and does not affect function. You can see in best in the second picture.

Very clever Karakuri Box - 4 moves to the first compartment. Few chips to the inlay on one edge but hardly noticable in person.

Contains a "High Five Wire" puzzle inside. Fellow puzzle blogger Neil told me it was extremely difficult to reassemble. I believe it, given that I was unable to disassemble it and the fact that High Five is not trivial to assemble outside of a bottle. The two photos are 1) photo of my actual puzzle, and 2) photo by William Strijbos which has High Five puzzles assembled and disassembled outside of the bottle to show puzzle detail.
