Description
Description from Quagmire Puzzle Boxes website:
~ The Secret Stash Box No.13 ~
This secret box provides no real clues as to how it works. Rated as a moderate challenge, you may find this secret stash box more difficult than expected once you get started. It incorporates a series of gravity pins requiring the box to be held, turned and tapped in a number of different positions. There are actually 2 different ways to open the Secret Stash Box No.13. There is a 5 step method that requires a very repetitious movement of the box. Then there is a 13 step method that involves more careful positioning and a few light taps. This great secret stash box is definitely designed to be displayed and used. Its size and shape makes it perfect to hold in your hands while the box can hold everything from jewellery to collectables to whatever else you may want to stash in it. With 4 great artistic design options, there's a secret box style for everyone that's as fun to play with as they are wonderful to display. These boxes are completely handcrafted. The inside of the box is lacquer sealed while the exterior of the box is spray finished with 5 coats of semi-gloss lacquer. Each box is then hand rubbed and oiled after a final test and inspection. Every box is fully tested before it is sent out. These boxes are numbered and come with complete care and operating instructions.
The name designation of "Secret Stash Box No. 13" is derived from the number in a series of designs made by the artist. In all, there were over 20 different mechanisms developed and the No.13 was the 13th in that series and with it's 13 step process, it became an appropriate name for this design. For the first time ever, one of our secret boxes is being offered in with 3 different engravings. Using very high resolution art work results in beautifully engraved details. The Aztec Calendar design really shows off even the finest details. Please note that no other custom engraving is or will be offered for these boxes.
Please note, due to it's popularity, we have brought back the old Uncle Herbart graphics with this new secret box mechanism that we are calling No.13. The first Uncle Herbart design has been discontinued.
Two ways - 13 moves or 5 moves to open this secret stash box!
