Three Cubes is an award-winning design, having placed in the 2018 IPP Design Competition. The three identical pieces must be assembled to form three solid cubes. This apparently simple task is complicated by the addition of magnets on each face, whose polarity significantly impacts the process. Very fun, and pocket-sized as well! Obstacle Box is the first design I have made by the talented Lucie Pauwels. A very interesting design, it combines a simple packing puzzle with a very unconventional box. The interesting shape of this burr is what attracted me to it initially. The unique level 12 solution was also a contributing factor. Once I figured out the color scheme and put it in production I was very pleased with the result. A definite departure from your normal six piece burr, the construction sequence is tricky and non-intuitive. The finished shape is pleasingly symmetrical and displays well.
