Simple and elegant puzzle box.

Karakuri Xmas gift 2012. Opens in 7 Steps and is stamped with Akio Kamei's Hanko. The mechanism is true the name of the series, meaning that this box "expands" during the solving process. But the movements are different. One cute feature is the little peepholes on each walnut piece that gives you a view inside of something metallic. Walnut.

Stewart Coffin designed this puzzle in 1990. It is made of ten identical pieces, one key and one augmented piece. Assembling and disassembling the puzzle requires shifting the pieces back and forth in order to insert or remove the next piece. Mr Coffin considers this puzzle to be difficult to solve, (assembly in particular). He considers the 12-Piece Separation one of his top favorite designs.

Great little box that has a nice amount of puzzling to it. Dee sold me this one direct as a Scratch and dent version, however i was was very happy to recieve this one as i could really see anything wqrong with it. i have taken a photo of what i think is the problem with it, to me very minor.Shipping Cost  Will be worked out once the Auction has ended.I will combine shipping on multiple items if required.
