Shutout
Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“This fabulous puzzle by Osanori Yamamoto has already been reviewed by me after I bought it direct from the master himself. In fact Allard has just reviewed it as well (summary – he loved it!) It won a “Top 10 vote getter” prize in the 2022 IPP Design competition and I am so glad that it is being produced in greater numbers than Osanori-san can manage – EVERYONE should get a chance to try this puzzle. It will be available in Wenge and Padauk as well as Wenge...

Xmas Stocking
Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“Odd time of year for this to appear, but gorgeous nonetheless. I’d suggest you all buy this either as a belated Christmas present for yourself or as a backup for December for the other significant puzzler in your life. Hopefully you can hide it long enough and still remember where you put it. It’s quite pocket size – perfect for your own Christmas stocking There are already 3 little legs in the stocking and 2 outside To get them all in, as with many of Osanor...

Collator
Here is a nice little packing puzzle. Just three piece to fit into the box through a fairly large opening. This one gave me a workout for a while! I also like the fact that there are 3 solutions in total. But the desired solution gives the nicest finished look with all the openings in the box filled with the inserted pieces. The other two solutions are rather easy and should provide a nice warm up.Moves: 10.4.2 - Ships assembled but not the correct assemblyApproximate Size: 3.0" x 3.0" x 3.0" (7...

Tube In Cube [Dr Volker Latussek]
Dr. Volker Latussek wrote about it:“‘Place the eight logs into the box.’ This is the simple goal of the wonderful packing puzzle LOX IN BOX by Vesa Timonen. These round rods, beveled on one side, are just crying out to be twisted out of the plane. I wanted to find eight round rods that would fit into an open cube-shaped box. And to do it in a unique arrangement. For this job, I needed to understand the shape of these round rods. At times I was convinced a nice mix of eight round rods would...

Airlock [GPK]
Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“Pit is an incredible designer – I have seen his puzzles do very well in the design competitions and I have a good few of his designs in my collection which have appeared in this blog. This one is wonderful as well because of a series of really nice Aha! moments. I had been certain that I had seen this somewhere before but a search of the internet only found a few pictures that did not ring any bells. It is a tray packing puzzle with a restricted entry hole. Commotion
Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“Tyler has been quietly working in the background designing very interesting puzzles. They have tended to be various burrs or maze type interlocking puzzles and all have been really good. Certainly they have been good enough for the guys at Pelikan to mass produce and they have always sold out. This one is something totally new and an absolute delight. When it arrived, I took all 5 pieces out of the tray and wondered what I was supposed to do with it. I had to ask J...

Stuffing Burr [Dr Volker Latussek]
William Steedly wrote about it:“Once again Volker Latussek has managed to create an interesting puzzle with relatively simple pieces. Unlike regular burrs, Stuffing Burr comes disassembled without any hint of a final shape nor any indication of whether notches come together or are filled with other parts, and therein lies the challenge. Finding even one of the two solutions took a while, and I’m still searching for the second. Stuffing Burr is a great two-for-one value!”Kevin Sadler wrote ...
