This puzzle box was made by occasional craftsman Stephen Chin (entered australian IPP). This puzzle box is well made with very nice woods. This was made to replicate an antique English puzzle ball called the sovereign ball which pushes one of the circles through to reveal in inner compartment which unscrews to open (wooden groves!). There are VERY FEW pieces of his work, probably less than 10 in total.

This Japanese puzzle box was made by the deceased master Okiyama. It comes with the original box. It is in excellent condition.

This design is a variation of Triumph where two pairs of pieces are fused, making it a much more difficult four-piece puzzle. All four symmetrical solutions are still possible. The puzzle is made of Koa wood and although only 4 pieces it is a really difficult puzzle to solve in the correct orientation. The puzzle is in excellent condition and the Koa makes it more difficult as Lee writes on his website the puzzle is much more difficult to solve when made from only one wood and the Koa certainly...

This is a very rare version of the very special boxes Mr. Okiyama made in the 6 sun 54 move size. Only 12 of these very rare boxes were made. This Kamei puzzle box has a clever little solution which evaded me for a while. I believe it was made 4 or 5 years ago. It is in excellent condition and works well.

The group of boxes I received from Japan were the finest boxes in the 5 sun 27 move size that I have ever seen from this great master.
