This is one of a series of locks I am selling. Mostly (all?) Indian manufacture and best described as "rustic". All are in working condition,  none are particularly tricky. Numlock is an n-ary puzzle designed by Pit Khiam Goh and crafted by Johan Heyns with help from Jack Krijnen.  Theoretically, the puzzle could be increased to any odd-number-ary size (Johan has made a 7-ary/9-ary version) this ternary/quinary option was quite enough for me!  The toughest setting will need 404,999 moves to release the first piece but I will ship it in the more modest 47-move setting.  Please read Kevin Sadler's excellent review at https://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2017/11/not-jingly...

Another classic by Oskar van Deventer, the Paperclips puzzle is rarely made, and for good reason. The length of the sticks and small surface area for overlap at the edges makes it very difficult to construct. Each corner is reinforced by a shoulder joint, then sanded flush and further reinforced with a full length spline. This is a great puzzle box designed by Bruce Viney of Homemade Puzzles.  I built this puzzle box myself.  It has very little tight spots.It is made of 1/8" plywood.  I sanded it to a very smooth finish, with Sandpaper 6000 grit.  It is unfinished.  I will send the sequence to opening it, as it has a secret area in the box, and it takes 42 moves to get to it, with 42 moves in all.

Eric says "I like *some* packing puzzles, and this one made the cut. It's a set of pentominos and a simple box, yet there is only ONE solution to packing them all in. A truly extraordinary achievement! I interpreted this one with a lot of panache, using 12 different woods for the pieces (Canary, Bubinga, Yellowheart, Peruvian Walnut, Paduak, Wenge, Shedue, Mahogany, Ipe, Bocote, Cherry, Ash). Eric says "A simple box with simple pieces that is anything but simple to solve. The interlocking solution is a unique level 6.2.3.4.5 which if you're a nerd like me is kind of amusing. There's plenty of room in the box, and with over 40k solutions but only one assemblable, you'll soon be cursing Bram's name. Just remember to blame him, not me. I'm just the woodworker."

Eric says "Elena's burr is an interesting variation with a lot of tricky movement. The level 13.7 solution will keep you very very busy. Disassembly alone is a feat, with lots of dead ends. Reassembly without directions is extremely difficult. Elena's burr is an elegant design, and the ability to come up with a unique solution at such high levels with simple pieces is an achievement. I really enjoyed making and playing with this one!"

Eric says " It's not easy to come up with a new variation on the traditional six piece burr, but Juno came up with a great one! Because pairs of two pieces are off-centered, the assembled shape of the puzzle looks inaccurate though the pieces need to be accurate. The puzzle is based on one of the notchable sets of a level 9 combination. Thanks to the off-centered pieces the puzzle has unique solution and is very confusing to assemble! Eric says "The Loopy Burr came from the genius brain of Junichi; a very unusual six piece interlocking puzzle with pieces that form three intermingled loops once in the proper position. Finding that position takes eleven moves, and is downright tricky due to the space caused by the loops. Good luck! Construction of this puzzle is outstanding, with our usual precision down to several thousandths of an inch."
