Clamp by Tim Alkema (RPP)
Clamp is a very fun puzzle. When Tim originally sent it to me I didn't see the brilliance. After thinking about it I made up a prototype and immediately knew I wanted to offer it to my collectors. For such a simple assembly, it's surprisingly tricky to take apart! Sliding the halves back and forth and hearing the satisfying click of the magnets as they align the box is addicting. Careful or you'll never put this one down... Construction of this puzzle is outstanding! Very precise movement with a...

ResQ by Frederic Boucher/ Eric Fuller (RPP)
ResQ is a unique Sequential Discovery Puzzle based on Boucher's brilliant Visitor Q. We took the original design and modified it by adding additional goals, tools, and tricks. ResQ is the result of nearly three months of prototyping and features previously unseen concepts and hardware. The brilliance of Boucher's VQ design is in the depth of possible movements and states the puzzle can be in. Visitor Q is very much like a maze; you find configurations that won't allow you to progress and must bac...

B.Lock II, Puzzle Lock by Boaz Fledman introduced at IPP39
B.Lock II is the second puzzle lock designed by Boaz Feldman, son of the renowned Dan Feldman, inventor of the famous and iconic Danlock. Boaz introduced B.Lock II to the puzzle world as his exchange puzzle at IPP39 held in Kanazawa Japan in 2019, the last International Puzzle Party held before the pandemic. The goal, of course, is to open the lock without using force or any external tools. The puzzle is as originally purchased with its felt bag. I will include a copy of the solution fro...

Quads & Rings 1
A very fun little puzzle from CubicDissection. The puzzle as described by Eric Fuller - "Believe it or not, this is the simpler iteration of the Quads and Rings series. Four wooden burr pieces interlock with two acrylic pieces with a level 13.5 solution. Doable despite the high level because a lot of the moves just follow. Achieving the checkerboard pattern is a secondary challenge.Construction is excellent, with close tolerances but plenty of room to maneuver. This puzzle is shipped assembled a...

2-In-1 (2013)
Love exotic woods? Love a hard puzzle? This is it! I look at this puzzle as more of a exhibit of exotic woods. It is a absolutely stunning piece of art that also hurts your brain. This is what Cubic Dissection has to say about it. "2-in-1 is a twelve piece interlocking burr with a unique solution and a couple challenges; the first puzzle is to figure out what shape it makes, and the second is to make that shape. Ingenious design using full dados instead of higher level cuts actually makes findin...

Rough Night Burr
As written by Cubic Dissection: "The unique shape of the Rough Night Burr is what initially caught my eye. Combine that with a very elegant set of pieces (two sets of three identical), a unique level 4.5.2.3.3 solution, and some very very tricky moves and you come up with a winner. While this design isn't as new as many from this update, it was beginning to be made and I'm glad I did. The assembly has a lot of movement but no shortcuts or illegal moves. The final assembly is quite stable and dis...

Binary Burr - Disassembly Puzzle
This is a fantastic puzzle and another gem created by Cubic Dissection. this is what they have to say:" The Binary Burr is a classic Bill Cutler design. It was awarded a First Prize at the 2003 IPP Puzzle Design Competition, and has been unavailable for several years. Here is what Bill has to say about it:"The Binary Burr is a burr that functions like a 6-ring version of the Chinese Rings. The puzzle consists of 21 pieces. One is equivalent to the 'bar' in a Chinese Rings puzzle, and six others...

Murbiters Devilish Burr for IPP36
This is a challenging burr but very doable without the aid of burr tools. This is what Mr. Puzzle Australia has to say: "We’re really happy to finally bring this interesting 6 piece plated burr puzzle to you. Murbiter’s Devilish Burr has been a puzzle we’ve been in contact with the designer Primitivo Familiar Ramos about since as early as 2010. Primitivo had enjoyed the T-Burr puzzle that was designed for IPP29 by Grant Smith and Brian Young (aka Mr Puzzle) and he set about to make a ‘mo...

Angry Walter by Dee Dixon
Angry Walter is an amazing SD puzzle. It's
the best puzzle that Dee
has ever made and I can't wait to see what else he'll create next! It's
not blind like the Blinded puzzles, not very long, but it's still a
journey with unique mechanisms that play very nicely into the robot
theme. This is a scratched and dented version with only a few nicks in
the same spot that I
could find shown in the very last image. It's very small and not
noticeable in the bottom ...
