"Intersections" is a LARGE (6" x 6" x 6", or 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm, weighing almost 2 lbs!), almost museum quality, interlocking AND sequential movement puzzle, on steroids. Each of the 27 intersecting rods --- arranged in three 3x3 orthogonal and intersecting grids --- must be removed from the acrylic cube, and then reassembled in the cube. In order to illustrate the intricacy of the puzzle, I've included in the second illustration a copy of the profiles of the 27 black acrylic rods which must be sequentially inserted into the cube through the appropriate hole and rotated properly so that the grooves align properly for the insertion of the remaining rods. "Intersections" comes from the mind of Minnesota puzzle collector Patrick Hegland, and was used by Patrick as his exchange puzzle at the 20th International Puzzle Party (IPP20) held in 2000 in Los Angeles.
"Intersections" comes as it was received at IPP20 in 2000, complete with its original box and solution sheet.
