Bantam Eggs is cited on page 66 in Jerry Slocum and Jack Botermans' New Book of Puzzles. The puzzle was originally designed for the World's Fair in 1934 as the "Scrambled Eggs" puzzle, and was later reproduced in the version offered here in 1956. It was manufactured by Scramble Eggs Incorporated in Chicago.
Bantam Eggs comes in its original box with original instructions. The colorful box shows some fading from over the past 65 years. The wood is frail from being so old, and there is a minor break in one piece that does not affect the assembly of the puzzle.
