I hadn't heard from Duane in quite some time, but he mailed me this little gem of a puzzle and I had to make it. Kaon is a six-piece burr which features three pairs of pieces with mirrored cubes inside which restrict their position. It has two solutions, each with different assembly methodologies. A very simple, elegant design and exactly the kind I like to make.
Construction of this puzzle is very very good, with an extremely accurate fit. The finish is exceptional. I'm very happy with how this one turned out.
