Board Burr Rack looks quite simple. Simply slide four burrs into the rack spaces created by the frame. Easy, right? Unfortunately the two cubes trapped inside the rack makes that task substantially more difficult. Each board move affects its neighbors due to the two unit size of the cube it's interacting with, creating a shifting maze of confusion. When fully assembled, none of the boards are able to be completely removed without manipulating the cubes inside. Lots of fun, lots of frustration! Construction of this puzzle is outstanding, with solid milled ends in the frame and notched side pieces - true heirloom work, this puzzle is not going to fall apart any time soon.
