From Pluedro:
"Despite its decent and honest appearance, this puzzle requires 25 moves to remove the first piece from the assembled shape.
While Juno had been playing with the idea of Grooved 6 Board Burr #1, he thought that there could be several variant grooved board burr puzzles dependent on where he put pins and grooves on the puzzle pieces. It was the reason why he put #1 to the first grooved 6 board burr. We might produce #3, #4 and so on if he finds an interesting idea for the series.
Unlike #1, no pins and grooves can be seen once #2 is assembled but please be assured, #2 is ten or even 100 times easier than #1 because of its smaller numbers of assemblies. We don’t say it’s an easy puzzle, but we believe that many burr puzzle lovers can assemble the puzzle without any clue. It shouldn’t be very difficult to find out the orientation of the pieces and then assembling the six pieces in proper order is a bit challenging."
Puzzles are kept in a pet-free room of a smoke-free home, temperature consistent between 68 and 73 F, with humidity between 50 and 55%.
(note: pics are all of the same copy of the puzzle; some show the color better, while others better show the detailed grain within it.)
