Description

Jack Krijnen composed and made this burr set and named it the Phoenix Family. The set allows for the assemblage of Supernova, Excelsior, Barones, Burrly Sane for Extreme Puzzlers and Tiros, as well as several unnamed high level standard 18-piece burrs. All these burrs share comparable solutions, and have in Phoenix, designed by Alfons Eyckmans in 2008, a starting point for further explorations by Alfons and Jack. Hence the name of the set. The numbering of the pieces is deliberately chosen in such a way that the differences between the distinct burrs are easily recognized.
