The goal from my understanding is to remove the lock and then the real puzzle is to get the lock and chain piece back in the original setting.
A lot of people confuse that the real puzzle is the disassembly, but Strijbos himself has verified that the true puzzle challenge is the reassembly.
I was able to disassemble, but I was never able to reassemble the proper way.
There is a small chip on the opening of the puzzle. I did glue to piece back on with glass glue. It is only visible when your close and examine. I will add a photo of the chip .
