The founding Karakuri craftsman, Akio Kamei, began producing fine wood puzzles in the 1970's in Japan. A museum quality example of Kamei's early work, this is an original artist's piece produced in the early '80s, not a later reproduction. Kamei puzzles of this vintage rarely come up at auction, don't miss this and other Kamei listings this season!
Objective is to take apart this unusual Oak 22-piece burr. Finishing and movement are excellent. Includes original box labeled "K-8 #8 Oak".
Mahalo!
