This is 5 piece, level 5.1.1.2 4x4x4 serially interlocking cube puzzle that I purchased directly from the designer, William Waite, around 2002. This is a highly regarded interlocking cube design, reminiscent of other timeless classics, like the Mayer's and All-Sides cubes.
