OK stick with me. Unusual name for a puzzle right? Imagine a standard six piece burr. Got it? Good! Now imagine that burr in a glass jar. Got it? Good! Now imagine a standard puzzle hamster wearing a glass wizard hat. Absolutely freaking amazing right? That's the Tongari Kun and Roppongi puzzle by Toyo Glass. As much fun as a hamster in a wizard's hat. Made. Of. Glass.,
The box is a little tatty but does show the orginal selling price 1800 Yen way back last century. With inflation it should be worth about a bazillion dollars now. Bid generously.
The standardised puzzle Hamster is not included in this auction but is included for scale. A standardised hamster has a length of 160mm, height of 76mm, and weight of 64g. It also looks amazing in a glass wizard's hat.
I've been trying to complete my Toyo glass collection for a while now is this is one of a number of duplicates I have picked up along the way.
I am selling these puzzles to raise funds for IPP. All proceeds will be re-invested in puzzles and alcohol at IPP. I am starting everything at $5 irrespective of market value, so please bid generously.
Postage will be at cost from the UK, if paying by paypal please add 4% to cover transaction fees.
I'll happily deliver this puzzle by hand to the winning bidder at either the next MPP or IPP if that works for you.
