Description
Stewart Coffin's 3 Piece Pennyhedron puzzle (STC #52-D?) made of Tropical Walnut. This puzzle has 3 dissimilar pieces that assemble in only one way to form a rhombic dodecahedron. This puzzle has a nice fit and finish. It also bears my maker's signature. Taken from my personal collection.
It is unknown how many Stewart made of this variation. Since the three pieces are made from one wood it is VERY difficult to open as you constantly fight your own finger placement. For me, this is the hardest of the pennyhedron puzzles. You will swear I glued it shut, but I didn't.
