Description
Stewart Coffin's Jupiter puzzle ( STC #7) made from Australian Lacewood, Tulipwood, Bocote, Narra, Bloodwood, and Ziricote. Puzzle is from my personal collection. This was my first prototype of Stewart's beautiful Jupiter puzzle. The arms are just a little bit short, due to a miscalculation on my part. However, it isn't overly noticeable. A piece or two have a slightly splintered edge. Although it seems solid, don't throw it into air, or it will rain down in 12 pieces.
Stewart Coffin's most popular AP-ART creation. 12 symmetrical and identically shaped pieces, each one made of five triangular sticks of different woods go together to enclose a triacontahedron.
