Description
Stewart Coffin's Notched Rhombic Sticks puzzle made of Yellowheart, Padauk, Goncalo Alves, Tropical Walnut. This puzzle somehow did not get it's own number in Stewart's listing. Mr Coffin shows this puzzle in Fig 136 of his Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections book. It consists of 12 augmented triangular sticks. It looks somewhat similar to a 12 pieces separation puzzle but has more key pieces due to the squared ends. By adding color, the solutions should be limited to one. This puzzle has a very smooth fit and nice finish. It also bears my maker's signature. Taken from my personal collection.
Stewart does not document this particular puzzle or how many he made. It may be quite rare, or maybe not.
