Description
Stewart Coffin's Notched Rhombic Sticks puzzle made of Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry). This puzzle somehow did not get it's own number in Stewart's listing. Mr Coffin shows this puzzle in Fig 136 of his Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections book. It consists of 12 augmented triangular sticks. It looks somewhat similar to a 12 pieces separation puzzle but has more key pieces due to the squared ends. I have found a couple of different ways to assemble this puzzle. This puzzle has a very smooth fit and nice finish. It also bears my maker's signature.
Stewart does not document this particular puzzle or how many he made. It may be quite rare, or maybe not.
