Hikimi "Star" is one of the classic puzzles from Puzzland Hikimi, a company started by the great Japanese puzzle designer and collector Nob Yoshigahara. While this puzzle is around 25+ years old (as discerned from the ¥1500 price tag on it), it has remained in nearly mint condition. "Star" is a variation on the famous "Eight Queens" puzzle. The object is to arrange the nine pieces into a 3x3 array such that no two blue stars are on the same line vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Note that the arrangement in the illustrations is NOT a solution, as the upper right and lower left stars are on the same diagonal line.
"Star" comes complete in its original box with original paperwork. The puzzle, box, and paperwork are in near mint condition.
I can ship within the US as a ground advantage (first class) package for between $8.00 and $9.00 (depending on postal code), or at insured
priority mail pricing for between $11.00 and $16.00 (depending on postal
code) if preferred. I am happy to ship
internationally at cost (typically around $30, depending on
country), but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured. Please do not send payment until the postage cost
is determined. Note, sadly, that tariff wars may be in effect for packages received in certain countries.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my copy of Hikimi "Star."
