FunLock is a puzzle lock designed by Boaz Feldman, son of the renowned late Dan Feldman, inventor of the famous and iconic Danlock. Boaz designed FunLock as an introductory puzzle lock, ideal to introduce beginners or non-puzzlers to the world of trick mechanism locks. But even if you're not a beginner, FunLock is an excellent mechanical puzzle to share with visitors or friends. Despite the mechanism being a classic in the puzzle lock world, Boaz rates the average solve time as 2 hours! The goal, of course, is to open the lock without using force or any external tools.

Here is what Boaz says about FunLock on his website:

"The FunLock is the easiest puzzle in the Puzzlocks collection and the perfect place to start.

It is based on Dan Feldman's classic TRIP puzzle, an iconic mechanical brain teaser originally designed more than twenty years ago. Boaz Feldman updated the mechanism and brought it into the Puzzlocks collection as a tribute to his father's work. It is a bit of history with a fresh twist.

It looks like a normal padlock. The answer is hidden right in front of you. Most people solve it in around two hours, which means a satisfying first experience without days of frustration."

FunLock currently retails on Boaz's web sute for $75, but I am offering my mint condition example at an opening bid of $45. The puzzle is as originally purchased with its felt bag and documentation.

I will ship FunLock within the US as a ground advantage (first class) package for between $8.00 and $11.25 depending on postal code, or at insured priority mail pricing for between $9.50 and $13.00 depending on postal code, if preferred. I am happy to ship internationally at cost, likely around $30 for an object of this weight, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured or tracked. Please do not send payment until the postage cost is determined. Note, sadly, that tariff wars may be in effect for packages received in certain countries.
