Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd (1915–2002) is the MASTER of Impossible Figures, and famous for his so-called "Japanese Perspective" impossible drawings, using parallel projections rather than the more common Western "vanishing point" projection. Unlike his more famous counterpart, M.C. Escher, Reutersvärd rarely embellished his impossible objects with scenery around them. A mild exception to this policy was his "European Flags" series from the 1990's. I am offering a signed and numbered (32/210) lithograph from that series, "Impossible Figure: Finland," printed by on a beautifully textured heavy paper measuring 29 cm x 39 cm. The lithograph is in MINT condition.
