The late great Norman Sandfield was one of the luminaries of the International Puzzle Party world. He co-hosted IPP23 in 2003, and his exchange gifts — among them his famous dovetail puzzles — are coveted by many collectors. Norman's untimely passing last year saddened the puzzle world.
Many, if not most, don't realize that Norman was a world renowned antique dealer in netsuke and other miniature oriental art. He created a netsuke-themed folding puzzle as an invitation to a party he hosted in 1987. I obtained a few copies of this die-cut puzzle from Norman at the 7th Gathering for Gardner in 2006. I am offering two copies of the puzzle — one with which to play, and one to preserve as a collectible. The puzzle are in mint condition.
I will ship within the US as a "flat" (essential a first class package) for around $8.00. I am happy
to ship
internationally at cost — typically under $20 for an item this size — but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured or tracked. Please do not send payment until postage cost
is determined. Note, sadly, that tariff wars may be in effect for packages received in certain countries.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this pair of 40 year old die-cut folding puzzles.
Thank you for viewing my auction!
