THE ELUSIVE SQUARE is a beautifully crafted puzzle, laser-cut in a fine wood by prolific IPP exchange puzzle manufacturer Walt Hoppe (LaserPerfect). THE ELUSIVE SQUARE was long time Puzzle Exchange participant Harold Raizer's exchange puzzle at IPP23 held in Chicago in 2003, over twenty years ago. The design is copied from an old cardboard toy by the famous TSL company from England. There are a total of sixteen ways to form a square from the twelve pieces, BUT ONLY ONE WAY to form the square if the word "ELUSIVE" (engraved on one side of each piece) is face up.
THE ELUSIVE SQUARE comes as received at IPP23 in its original labeled case, complete with instructions and packing documents. It does not come with the solution, but I will supply a copy of the
solution from the IPP23 booklet to the winning bidder.
I will ship within the US as an insured priority mail package from between $11.00 and $12.65 depending on postal code, or as a ground advantage package from between $9.80 and $11.25 depending on postal code. I am happy
to ship
internationally at cost — which I estimate to be around $30 — but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured or tracked. Please do not send payment until
postage cost is determined. Note, sadly, that tariff wars may be in effect for packages received in certain countries.
Please let me know if you have any questions about THE ELUSIVE SQUARE.
