"Time Traveler’s Artifact is a sequential discovery puzzle box that takes you on a puzzle journey through the barriers of past, present and future. The development of this puzzle has taken nearly two years of designing, building, testing and iterating. The end result is a unique puzzle experience full of surprises, packed inside a mesmerizing machine that stands as an artifact worthy of any display! Time Traveler’s Artifact is the first puzzle that I am releasing to the public.

Dimensions: 16 x 17.5 x 18 cm (6.3" x 6.9" x 7.1")

Materials: PLA and plywood (treated with several layers of stain and varnish for a premium look)

The puzzle contains a hidden 8x5x5 cm hidden compartment, suitable for storing precious items.

Inside the hidden compartment, there is also a hidden prize as a reward for those who solve it.

Instructions are provided to ensure a good start to the puzzle."

[Also of note is the fabulous hint system that you access via a QR code on the instruction sheet. It's the most robust hint system I can recall, wherein you answer questions for the system to determine exactly where you are in the solve, and provide you with the proper hint. This is opposed to a traditional list of hints where you might read too far and see too much!]

I concur with his description: It's a beautiful box! I also think the experience of solving it is an absolutely wonderful adventure, and also nicely non-linear in some ways! Very few puzzles boxes allow you to go your own way at all.

This is perhaps the most charming puzzle I can recall, it's an amazing first outing for a new designer.

My copy comes with an instruction sheet and a story-based scroll, as well as a nice travel-case or storage box which is custom made to perfectly fit and protect the puzzle itself. [The travel-case is an add-on that now costs an additional 50 euro, but which I am including for no additional cost, as the creator did not originally charge for this element of the package.]

Solved once and reset to the original state.
