This puzzle is a exchange puzzle by Juozas Granskas for the International Puzzle Party 37 held in Paris, France 2017
Objective: Place 5 pieces into the tray, leaving uncovered only three empty cells and IATA code letters of selected airport.
Background:
History of IPP was my inspiration. Since there were 36 events , 6x6 tray was the best choice. Cities, names….. just too many letters they have. My colleague Rüta Kazlauskaité suggested using IATA codes of airports. There are 17 codes from the first 36 IPP, but I had to replace Ottawa (YOW, two new letters) with Paris. Even then to squeeze all those codes into 6x6 square was a real challenge.
