This puzzle is a exchange puzzle by Nick Baxter for the International Puzzle Party 25 held in Helsinki, Finland 2005.
Objective / Description.
The cage has 12 faces, each with a hole divided into a number of arcs. Willy’s state depends on the orientation of his pelvic fin: one for each arc the fin can touch, and whether he is pointing into or out of a hole. There are 50 connected states (two disconnected states are ignored). The starting and ending positions are when the fin is at the notched arc on face number one.
