Description

(Note: My description of the solving below is because I have an unsealed copy. I really wanted this puzzle, so I went in twice for the Karakuri Lottery in 2023, and won both times! Hence why I am finally selling my second sealed copy). So my description below is from solving my opened copy:

I cannot tell you how incredible this puzzle is!

Kawashima is known for his mechanical precision in his builds, and Jigsaw Cube 2 showcases this so highly. Kawashima shaped each arrow on the table saw and then hobby knifed the corners of each arrow by hand! The bevelling is off the charts on this puzzle. The wood choices are so lovely, and the warmth and feel as you solve it is just great.

At first the solution seems impossible due to how the arrows interlock with the wooden surfaces, but eventually you find some movement. And moving further through the solution just makes you shake your head in disbelief at how what you are seeing is physically possible! Finishing the puzzle (I won't spoil anything!) results in the coolest 'final state' of a Karakuri puzzle I have seen. The craftsmanship and precision of parts Kawashima achieved makes it seem like he's a robot. It's so insane!

Resetting the puzzle is such a joy too. It is so special of a reset and I love doing it everytime. This is truly a joy of a puzzle box from a masterful maker. The puzzle comes with original box, card, and solution envelope.
