Originally released in very limited numbers in 2012, Topless Puzzle Box was my contribution to the legendary Apothecary Chest. I always loved the design and decided to make another batch for the many newer collectors who have been unable to find a copy.
I've seen a fair number of boxes and this one has what I believe are some unique characteristics. Unfortunately, I can't show much detail of the inside of the box without giving away the workings. I can say that the box has two lids, and neither a top nor a bottom. Figuring out how to deal with that conundrum will hopefully get you on your way...
These boxes are constructed from a plank of very nice striped sapele which gives a ton of shimmer. They are designed with longevity in mind and should function fine regardless of humidity. I'm VERY happy with how they came out.
99 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped assembled.
