Description
The object is to separate the 2 pieces of the cross. Puzzlers experienced with the classical version will find that Strijbos has added an extra element that makes this more difficult. Also, it is produced with very high quality in metal, as collectors of Strijbos' creations are used to.
From William Strijbos' original description:
I first came up with this idea in early September (2015), actually pretty late In early September! (A company in Switzerland wanted to use my First Cross puzzle as a very special present to some of their customers at the start of 2016). Instead of using my original design from 1979, they asked me to come up with an easier version because they wanted their costumers to enjoy it, you understand. So with this challenge in my mind I went to Moscow where I found the inspiration for a new Cross Puzzle. I spent a week with my girlfriend "Sveta" before heading to China to explain the new creation to my product manager and arrange for a prototype, changed a few small details and then organized the production.
This Cross is named the Sweta Cross because the order came from Switzerland and I finished the creation at Sveta's place in Moscow.
