Description
Stickman No. 2 Puzzleboxes were made in several different wood type variations. This particular puzzle was hand crafted from red oak. Like all versions, it has the intricate inlay of a tree on its top (picture). The puzzle requires a minimum of 55 moves and is of moderate difficulty to solve all 4 of its hidden compartments.
The puzzle is in perfect working condition, (though some of its moves are just a hair on the tight side, and could possibly be even be tighter in exceptionally high humidity). This puzzle does not have the faint scratch that can be found on the top several of these models. It was kept back for my personal collection because of a particular knot (see picture) on one of the legs that I thought to be particularly beautiful. (I mention this because some collectors might see this as a flaw, but I kept if just for that reason.)
Only 50 of these puzzles were ever made, and this particular one is #24 of the limited edition set. The puzzle measures 10” x 6” x 5” and comes with its original 22 page, color-illustrated instruction booklet.
